In addition to her instruction at the Lyman Allyn Museum in New London, CT for 16 years, Gigi has taught workshops or given demonstrations at numerous art facilities including: the Connecticut Pastel Society, the Lyme Art Association, the Manchester Art Association, the Mystic Arts Center all in Connecticut as well as the Pastel Society of America, New York City, the Pastel Painters Society of Cape Cod, the Franklin and Framingham Art Associations in Massachusetts and the Pastel Society of New Jersey and New Hampshire.

She is available to teach individuals, classes, workshops or provide demonstrations for individuals or art organizations. Group or individual artist critiques are also available on request.

Lyme Art Association DEMONSTRATION AND WORKSHOP

Gigi Horr Liverant, Demonstration, June 10, 2:00-4:00 pm

Two-Day Workshop, July 22-23, 10:00 am – 4:00pm

Want to get reacquainted with R O Y G. B I V (Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo and Violet)? Join Gigi Liverant in this 2-day Color Dynamics Workshop and learn how to maximize the potential of color relationships in your artwork. Kandinsky said, “Color is a power which directly influences the soul.” Let’s do some soul searching!

Students will be given color manipulatives and prompted to explore the possibilities of using varied color combinations that best express your ideas. Each day will begin with a demonstration followed by lots of opportunities to explore color applications for your compositions. The two-day workshop will be geared towards the individual artist’s goals and abilities, and the color exploration can be executed in all mediums that use a full range of color.
