Two-Day Workshop, June 19 & 20, 10:00 am – 4:00pm

Pastel Society of America Master Pastelist, and International Association of Pastel Societies Master Circle member, Gigi Liverant, will lead students through a variety of practices to help them discover vibrant color relationships. Each day Gigi will demonstrate the painting development process, with an emphasis on color decisions and design. The workshop will include a discussion about the properties and value of color relationships including examples of the multiple studies employed by Gigi in her own work.  Students will be encouraged to experiment on day one and focus on imagery development and execution on day two.

The color exploration can be executed in all mediums using a full range of color.  Students need to bring subject reference: photos, still life objects, etc.
